Embroidery is more than a craft; it is a way to express the hobbies and interests I love most. At Laura’s Empawrium, I combine my passion for embroidery with my interests in dogs, especially poodles with dog showing, dog grooming, and dog agility. Alongside these I also love gothic themes, skulls, and Scottish culture. My work also reflects my commitment to health awareness, creating patches that help bring attention to various conditions. Combining Dogs and Embroidery

Dogs have always been a central part of my life. Poodles, in particular, hold a special place in my heart. Their elegance and intelligence make them wonderful companions and subjects for embroidery. I enjoy creating patches that celebrate different aspects of dog ownership and activities, such as dog showing and dog agility.

We all have the best dog and that is why where possible I like to offer custom work be it wall hangings with outline artwork of your dog or their breed or custom patches of your dog you can add onto your own clothing or accessories.

Bringing Health Awareness to Life with Embroidery

Living with various health conditions and disabilities has given me a personal connection to the importance of awareness. I create health awareness patches that represent various conditions, aiming to educate and support those affected.

One of my favorite items to make is Assistance Dog patches. These patches help identify dogs trained to support people with disabilities, making interactions smoother and more respectful. Designing these patches means making sure the patch colour schemes are unique to each dog and handler as it's important to have gear you are happy with for your dog.

I am always open to new ideas for health awareness patches. If there is a condition or cause you feel needs more visibility, I welcome suggestions. Together, we can create embroidered pieces that make a difference.
